The Stock Family welcomes you to Kittlitz, a picturesque farming village in the unspoiled nature of the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park. Enjoy your holiday in generous surroundings near one of Germany's largest lakes, the Schaalsee.
It is the perfect location for a family holiday or to relax with friends and workmates. Our traditional farmhouse has lots of space, easily accommodating up to 10 guests. Centrepiece is the former "Tenne", the 90 sq. m. barn area of this typical farmhouse (ref. Floor Plan below, fig. 6). It offers a large living and dining area around a large dining table. A wood-burning stove completes the homely ambiance. Opening into the "Tenne" are the three bedrooms, the large living room with sleeping area, the large kitchen and both showers. The kitchen is very well equipped, especially with families and larger groups in mind. The apartment opens to an extensive garden area with patio, grill area and playground equipment from swings to sandpit.

The surrounding area
Kittlitz is on one hand a very peaceful, rural holiday destination. The forests and lakes of Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg are an eldorado whether on foot or on horseback. Typical activities are swimming, canoeing and cycling as well as riding. On the other hand Kittlitz is an excellent base for touring North Germany, with the cities of Lübeck, Schwerin and Hamburg (approx. 1 hour) within easy driving distance - as are the beautiful sands and popular seaside resorts of the Baltic Sea. Travemuende, Boltenhagen and Warnemuende are three examples.
A neighbouring café sells fresh bread rolls, bread, tarts, cakes and gateaux.
